On May 19, 2019, the largest conference in Russia, entirely devoted to PHP, was held in Moscow.
There were well-known developers of the PHP core among the speakers: Nikita Popov and Dmitry Stogov.
At this conference, the topics of language development in the coming months were touched upon: innovations of PHP 7.4, asynchronous programming, JIT compilation, preloading.
All these innovations will not soon be used in many old platforms, but this is the future!
I especially liked the "magic of PHP" topic, where hidden mechanisms and lifehacks been shown.
